StackEdit is a free, open-source Markdown editor based on PageDown, the Markdown library used by Stack Overflow and the other Stack Exchange sites. You can manage multiple Markdown documents online or offline, Also, it can import to/export from Google Drive or Dropbox and save documents as HTML.
StackEdit can be combined with Google Drive and Dropbox to have your documents centralized in the Cloud. The synchronization mechanism will take care of uploading your modifications or downloading the latest version of your documents.
You can also edit existing Markdown documents from Google Drive, Dropbox and your local hard drive. You can publish your Markdown document on GitHub, Gist, Google Drive, Dropbox or any SSH server, share a link to a Markdown document that renders it in a nice viewer.
StackEdit has numerous features like text styles, hyperlink, image, etc. and any custom ones can be added with the help of an “extensions” menu created.
